Caster and Camber Flex
 
Does anyone know the technical reason why caster flex will add more steering? I know it does but cannot figure out why. The same question for camber flex. Thanks.

Alloy chassis for A800X was not available to this race and Viljami used our old C01B-AL lower deck. Note C27X top deck that provides an increased side flex of the front bulkheads and hence an increased caster and camber flex of front suspension.

Due to an increased angle between top links the AM19-4 provides less flex of caster and it seems good for rear suspension but not for front (especially on asphalt) as lack of front caster flex reduces the steering that all drivers usually want to find on asphalt tracks.

Flex creates grip because it is effectively adding an undamped "spring" to the chassis. More flex is the same as going softer on your settings, or softer on materials, hence more steering

To actually claim you are isolating the flex in caster alone seems a bit optimistic.

Flex also changes the angle of the steering.

Just one of effects: At the front wheels steering angle the caster flex partial transfers into the camber flex for the turned wheel. And this additional change of camber effects on the grip of front tire.

Is this similar to having more camber gain via upper link angle (less bulkhead spacer, more knuckle spacer)? If similar why rely on one over the other for more steering?

We don't need so high camber gain on the straight wheels but we want to get it on the turned wheels.
