Danny I ran the pack you sent me. All I can say is WOW! The first run on the track with it was awsome. These new cells rip.

Thanks for the info. The best thing about the SHVs is they should be even more reliable and consistent than the previous cells. Intellect works real hard at achieveing performance while keeping life expectancy and reliability as good as possible.

Intellect is proveing that they have the knowledge to stay number one when it comes to high performance RC cells.

Dont want this to sound like an ad but Trinity has been selling the new IB4200's for several weeks to oem as well as under our "matched brands". They are killer cells as Danny says. The only visible difference in the cell is the sticker that Intellect applies. We have them in stock in Epic shrink wrap.

I reccomend a linear 6 amp charge with 20mv (.02) peak detect for the entire pack.

I notice that a few other matchers that match with a 30 amp discharge with the IB's would have numbers 1.23 v at 30 amps discharge and other matchers that match at 35 amps would have 1.23 v, now what happen to the higher numbers that the 30 amps matchers should have go? as far as i know if you match at 35 amps the numbers should be higher at 30 amps, i never see any higher numbers with the 30 amps matchers, do they hold it for the team racers?

Danny,

What are the dimensions of these cells compared to the IB3800's?

Tried my new SHV cells this weekend and they were very good. I will be getting some more packs of them now. Problem I am getting now is that with all this voltage the motor and speedo are getting pretty hot. I think the voltage war will have to end sometime, as motors and speedos dont seem to be keeping up with the development

As the cells keep getting better and the IR lower the difference in voltage between 35 and 30 amps is less. If you take a cell with 2.5 IR it will have .018-.022 or so voltage drop but if you take a cell with 1.5 IR it will only have .008-.012 or so voltage drop as lower IR means the cell is more efficient and drop off less under load.

Hope this makes sense. The SHVs we sell are 1.22+ @ 35 amps.

We have seen a need for a bit different motor setup with SHVs due to the extra power but I have yet to hear speedo issues. I personally think that the cells are getting close to the voltage limit but then again if someone would of told me last year that 1.22s would be available in 12 months I would of not believed it.
