How short can you cut a Spektrum receiver wire? I have mine just wadded up with a zip tie and can drive down my entire street with losing a signal. I have it extended on my nitro car because the track is bigger though.[/QUOTE]
3.6 per the manual. I cut mine and routed it flat on the chassis under my servo. No problems yet.

Hi, has anyone had any pairing issues with the JR X756 spektrum module, or can even get it to work? ( I know it is meant for the JR-1)
We have tried to get the module working on the X-756 without any success. anyone out there using a 756 with Spektrum?

I have resolved the compatibility problem of the "SPM1001 DSM 3-Channel Series Surface System: R-1" with jr x-756 2 stick version radio. I have placed an electrolitic capacitor of 470 uF between contact that carry PPM signal and 1 Kohm resistor of PPM pin on PCB of jr-x756 radio, where RF module is placed. The capacitor reduce noise in moment of radio startup. This is a high pass filter, it filters the dc component from microprocessor.

Actually i'm using spektrum module on jr x-756 radio.
