Well, let's see.... Trinity just released a brushless 1/18th system, and based on the fact that the Brushless technology still hasn't proven to be competitive on short carpet tracks yet, Ernie would probably be better off allowing Brushless, just so he could watch the Cobalt 2 teardown win Mod TC.

Tokyo-Mex, is that some new kind of habanero flavored Sushi? It's Tokyo-Mech, and GP has nothing to do with brushless motors, they're a battery company.

Conspiracy theorists may start their own threads regarding the suppression of brushless technology at major events. Keep it out of here, this thread is about the Indoor Champs.

Default US Indoor Champs 2006

Trinity as been and always will be a great friend and sponser to the Indoor Champs, but they nor any other sponser deside what classes we will run. If we deside to run brushless at Champs this year it will be deside by us.

We will allow up to 4300mah batteries from the major r/c batteries company(GOLD PEAK,SANYO,IB,IP,PANASONIC,etc). Non hobby industry batteries and those used in power tools and having a solid colored shrink-wrapping will not be allow.

We have 50 new 4x8 sheets of flooring to replace the old dead ones and more wood to go under the flooring so that there is a support every 16" this will make the floor more solid.

Agreed. That'd also make it easier/cheaper to run 19t for because then you could use the same brushes you use in stock.
