Just when you think you know what's in the box... You're right. WHAT'S IN THE BOX!?!

I know this isn't unique to the Schumacher design but can anyone explain how the ball stud inner arm mounts on this car and others accomodate adjusting the squat/dive without introducing binding in the ball studs? The same question applies to MI8 triangle upper arms but the MI9 turnbuckle upper arms wouldn't have this problem I think. I have never raced onroad so could be missing something obvious.

The lower arms ride on a pivot that can accommodate for height adjustments whether equal or squat/dive. Onroad doesn't see the big splits like offroad. We're typically around .5mm squat/dive if any at all.

It's because the angle is so small that the hypotenuse doesn't really change. There's enough play in the balls to compensate.

Video's coming in hot! Option parts for the Schumacher MI9, Michal Orlowski uploaded a list of all Schumacher Mi9 Option Parts which are suggested to use for different track conditions. I'll explain each of the option parts and it's benefits and in which racing conditions they could be used.

Hey Robert,

When i understand it right, all of the shown option parts are mainly made for high grip conditions.

Reason why i'm asking, most of the time we are racing on low grip/bumpy tarmac and i'm wondering if the car is good for this conditions out of box?

I'm racing my mi8 (without hgt conversion) and it works fine, but i'd like to try the new one
What do you think?

Let’s see some videos of this car in action! And not one that is driven by Orlovski. We’ve seen too many shelf queens in these posts already.

Hi, I'm really tempted with this car. I race mainly on indoor carpet so I know I need the alloy car. This is currently out of stock but I would like the option of outdoor racing from time to time. Has anyone tried the carbon car on carpet yet? if so, how was it?

The alloy chassis for the Mi9 is the same as the Mi8 HGT conversion, so you could get the carbon kit and then get U8645 if you can find one in stock somewhere.

Here's a start. First round of the UK nationals, 17.5 fixed timing A main leg 1. I think 5 Mi9s in it including my son Sam who started and finished in 2nd, orange and white car. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EggzJCiBcXw
