The darkside car would be great for a slightly more seasoned racer.
Out of curiosity what 1/12th scale cars did you come from before the Darkside car?

The things I pointed out earlier for the most part (lowered pod, Big D ring diff, etc..). I believe the non red versions may come with a thinner chassis as well. Since you'll be running on asphalt the Team Red T-Force is probably the best choice.

Dont knock TC's They have gotten a lot like 2wd buggies. There is one good setup for each of the top cars that works perfect at 95% of the places you race and a few minor changes (shock angles, sway bars) gets you dialed in at the other 5%.

If you want to help "grow" the class at your track, I would talk to others and go with somewhat of an agreed upon spec car. That way, it won't become the car-of-the-week-club that most racers find is too expensive and end up losing interest.

Your local hobby shop (please support them) may be more inclined to stock up on parts and hop-ups for that one car too (and support you).

Hey Adrian....I'm not knocking TC's....their fun I just like off-road best... I've had several TC's ...RDX's,TC4's,Yokomo, Schumacher..... I'm actually looking at getting another TC since my track is about 3 min. from my house....Looking at the new Mi2ec or Yok.BD or the RDX again...

Hey Bill... Thanks, ya I'll definatly kep the LHS supported if not for them we couldn't do this..... But ya were making it a 4cell 19t class.... maybe a stock one too....but mainly the 19t class....

Again thanks for all the help.....
