Default IB 3800's Battery Care /Performance

Questions about IB 3800's Care and getting Performance out off them Im hearing there are ways to charge and discharge IB 3800's to get more power and punch out of them.

The IB's I have allways seem to run flat if there new or old they seem to run flat is there any procedure to keep them runing with power and punch.

Im also hearing that a discharge board is now not the way to go with the IB 3800's I was told just to charge and then after a race to discharge down on the Comoetition Electronics GFX.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Before charging, put them on an equalizing tray at .90, I use the Novak Smart Tray. Charge as normal, when finished, it is ok to leave balance of charge in left in pack. When getting ready to race again, discharge at 20 to 30 amps down to .9 and then let rest till cool. Then, tray as above and charge. The main things to remember with IB's, is not to discharge much past .90 volts per cell and when storing, store with charge of 500 seconds or more left in pack. Good luck.
