Default R/C Cars on the Tonight Show - 04/28/06

Howdy,

Just happened to be watching the Tonight Show w/Jay Leno and there was a product in his "Duller Image" skit where there were some r/c cars in use (they even had a Futaba controller). It was to emulate George Michael driving down a street and crashing into parked cars.

Jay obviously was not the one controlling the car. Anyone know if someone from the r/c community was backstage driving the car?

Yeah I was going to make a post about that. He had a 3PK and a maxmod or Mini Z or something.

I got to get me one of those laptops...

Yeah, I figured someone there was big into R/C cars since they had the Futaba controller. Otherwise, I would have expected to see the standard Radio Shack style controller.

It was impressive how parts would fly off the cars that were hit. LOL!

Yeah, that laptop would sell a lot of 'units'.
