Missing parts in Kit??

I have built numerous kits in teh past and never had a missing part.

I just got a Losi XXX-S. And a few of the parts are missing. Sorry for not posting on the XXX-S Thread but there are way to many posts in there.

Anyway they sent me the wrong size Trunbulkles for the rear of the car(too Short). Missing a small screw for the cover on the bottom of the chassis, and a battery mounting post.

One of the Steering block & knuckles stripped out as soon as I put in teh screw as well.

Has anyone had a similar problem and will Losi send me the parts.

Other than that this kit is amazing. By far the easiest kit I have ever built. the Instruction manaul is supurb!!

Is this the graphite plus kit you are building? Usually losi is right on the money with parts.

Missing Parts

Yes you can e-mail Losi or call them and they are quick to respond with the correct parts. Their customer service is top notch. You might also contact your lhs where you purchased your kit and they may replace the missing parts for you.

no it's the regular kit. Beleive me I know Losi is usual right up to par. As I have owned a XXX KE, XXX-T Matt Francis, XX4 Worlds. Never had a problem. This one was Shrink wrapped and everything. All teh parts were in the appropriate bags and Sealed as well. these few parts just were not in the kit.

Don't feel bad, Last year, I got a Yokomo MR4TC Pro kit with no Lunsford titanium turnbuckles:( I would contact Team Losi and alert them of your problem.

my kit also had short rear turnbuckles, they dont reach the camber link holes as suggested in the manual. i just installed them on the next nearer hole. the car still handled fine, but that's one less setup option i cant have unless i switch to longer rear turnbuckles.

On both my XXXNT and XXXT they forgot items including shock towers, a arms, wheels, and on my last XXXT they forgot the chassis!!!

OUCHIE!!!

Damn that is a serious F-Up to forget the chassis. The links I can see just getting packaged wrong as well as a tiny screw. But to forget a chassis. WOW!!

What did you have to do to get the parts replaced? I e-mailed Losi this morning.
