Standard Spur is 48 pitch.

You can use either 48p or 64p, Xray make both.

Both have there pros/cons

I was wondering what 48 pitch spur most guys use in 27 turn stock? I run the 84 spur and my car seems a bit slow. Our rollout for our track is around 30 and when it is at that rollout the car is very sluggish. Could I please have some help?

Default xray

Are you racing an xray evo2?
I have a 96 spur on min with a 22 tooth pinion, and this is on a fairly tight track, with a larger track i go up to 23-24 teeth.
This makes my car VERY fast.

I am running the epic 27 turn dual magnet. I have also tried the fantom monster.

either 84 or 87 should be fine... they come standard with a 48p 84tooth spur.

on the older cars 87 seems to be the best but 84 with a 21-22 tooth pinion should get you in the ball park i think.

Cheers,

Robbie
