Seeing 10 screws on every suspension arm bothers me when there are manufacturers out there who are managing to do the long arm in a single moulding. Its just more parts to go wrong.

I imagine the answer is because Axon don't have the resources to do their own injection mould so they piece it together with machined parts and donor components.

Anyway it's always nice to see new cars on the market and I imagine this will be quite popular in their home market. If you like expensive materials and pit bling this will be right up your street.

Yokomo, Mugen and Xray all wrapped up in one.
I dont see any benefit that jumps out making it a 'Need' but I do like it enough to 'Want' to try.

Hope it works out stateside for them, always good to have options for drivers.

Why are all those brands jumping on the all-black bandwagon? Opportunity missed to differentiate themselves. I know performance matters with this kind of chassis, but I would still like the return of colored alu parts. I am still waiting for a TCXX with a decent condition/price ratio to pop out for sale in Europe.

Agree... All the colorful stuff we have left is Tamiya...

bring back orange, purple, red (kyosho), i think there even were some green niche cars!

I stand corrected - good for Xpress Infinity and Iris, I forgot them indeed!

I was thrilled 10 years ago when Yokomo changed from blue to black on the BD-7 (never liked that blue much). Then again, I was very disappointed when Xray gave up their orange. However, the best looking Xray (IMO) I own, came from the transition period and has both black and orange parts, in just the right mix (in combination with an orange aluminium screw set). The older cars have a little too much orange, kinda looks a bit gaudy, while the newer only black cars are what some people praise as "stealth" look, but I thinks it's just plain boring. The only good argument for all black I've heard is that it's neutral, so you can get every color you want for your screws and nuts and it will look fine. Problem is, very few people actually seem to do that, so I'm still not convinced that catering to these few people was worth it to give up your brand's signature color - but it's not my company. I still don't put any other color than orange into them.

Too bad it’s not so easy to alter the colour of titanium, other than rainbow.😬

I really like it! I still believe in the"C" hub geometry. As far the cosmetics go... hard anodize all the aluminum and it would be really sexy!

I am seeing a pattern in the japan mfgs that they are doing a pivot ball hinge pin mix. ( except for mugen).....Is this what works on their tracks or something else.....please chime in.........

Which Japanese manufacturers? So far I've only seen it on Yokomo and Axon, and historically Axon has been a conversion kit for Yokomo. They probably just inherited that design.
