Welcome to the forums.

You can use the search function to search for stuff, or you could ask your more basic questions in the rookie zone. I'm not sure about faq's, but there is a lot of information to be had on the forums. The worst that can happen is you ask a pre-answered question, which can be annoying to some, but being a jerk to a new guy (IMO) is pretty low. Depending on what your looking for the search function is great, if something more specific, but not sure if it should be in On-road, just post in the Rookie zone.

Anyways, hope this helps.

Enjoy your stay here.
