Who is the best stock racer in the US

one thing i found interesting with this thread is that beyond ertrachter, i don't think a name has been mentioned from cali. is this lack of talent, turnover, cali guys stepping to mod others hiding in stock...? with the largest conglomerate of pros in socal, i would have expected at least a few more cali stock guys on the list (though i wouldn't argue with the names/results of previous posts).

Socal has plenty of fast drivers. Ertracter is probably one of the fastest in stock and 19 turn but there are guys who can hang with him. Socal area has no big races, except reedy race, no carpet track , and for us to think of getting sponsored you have to be as good as Brian Kinwald, barry baker, toslini,hodge,weiss,cavalary,easton, hodapp,Numan,swanson,etc....and to spend money to go to a big race out of your own pocket ,yah right not worth it I would rather race at my home track...

only one person has mentioned Eli in four pages. he is inhuman when he is on(which is almost always).what he did at cleveland last year is tough to match no matter how old you are.

The best stock racer should move up to Mod. I don't think most of these guys that are the "best" stock racers are made to run anything and if they are thats BS. They just like to win and some people can't handle being in the B or C main sometimes. Look at when one of these "best" stock racers doesnt make the A at a race half the time they dont even run their main. Which to me is rediculous.
And J. Williams, can you post some more of your results, maybe someone will mention your name.

Looks like Mr. Teacher was right. Those last few posts have pretty much crapped the thread up.
Time for a new one! This one's dead.

I've had the honor over the past decade of working with some of the best wheels in the world...Joel, Kinwald, Neisinger, Dieter, Polimeda, Lemiuex, etc;
With that being said, on any given day there are a lot of guys who are capable of winning, depending on the circumstances. The difference between a good driver and a great driver, is that the great ones consistently get the job done, day in and day out...regardless of car, battery, motor,tires,etc;
I have an incredible On-Road team of drivers, and rather than name any of them, I'll let the results of their accomplishments speak on their behalf...besides, if I didn't think they were worthy, they wouldn't be here in the first place.
I will offer this: In my opinion, the most feared and talented On-Road Stock competitor we have to race against is Jeff Cuffs...period.

Dave Johnson, Bobby Flack, Eli Ezrow, Chuck Lonergan, Seaball, the list goes on. Great guys, and it's good to race with/against them week after week. it only makes you better.
Some have moved up to Mod, but can still wheel the hell out of their car in stock if needed.
