For laughs, I went back through the results starting in 2003 for the Carpet Nats, Snowbirds, Cleveland, IIC, and Novak race. Stock sedan foam class only.

Winner got 10 points, second got 9, third got 8, etc.. Keep in mind this is just for carpet racing.

Top 25 are:

1. Brad Johnson - 76
2. Jeff Cuffs - 71
3. Drew Ellis - 65
4. Peter Robinson - 53
4. Ray Darroch - 53
6. Alex Lopez - 52
6. Jeff Dayger - 52
8. Paul Ciccarello - 47
9. TJ Bradley - 42
10. Jason Schreffler - 37
10. Chuck Lonergan - 37
12. Jim Herrmann - 35
13. Stephen Sobattka - 32
14. Travis Schreven - 31
15. Mark Smyka - 24
15. Chris Goetz - 24
15. Bobby Flack - 24
15. Tim Heiser - 24
19. Jarrod Langlois - 23
19. Kyle Gannon - 23
21. Craig Xavier - 22
22. Mo Denton - 18
23. Justin Zorc - 15
24. Ron Atomic - 14
25. Kevin Mitchell - 12
25. Brian Lutz - 12

What does it look like if you divide their points by the # of those races they attended? I assume they didnt all attend every one of those. Just curious.

Nice....I see that like 5 or 6 of these guys have gone on to mod but now it looks like only 3 or 4 of that group are still actually racing mod...and doing quite well at it. So what excuse are the other 10 or so that race alot of bigger events going to come up with for why they are still racing stock or gone back to stock?

Going off that list we see who the king of stock has been over that time frame is but that person has never won the big one so what does that say? I guess nick name the "Suzan Lucci" of Stock fits him!

That will take some time, as some of these guys might have been in the B or C Main at these events over the last 5 years. Do I take that into account, or just how they did when they made the A?

If there are full A, B, and C main results for all these events, I can do it....but it'll be a few days.

We need a complete statistical analysis. Guess you wont be racing this weekend

Nah, dont take the time. I was just curious if it was easy to come up with.

The big thing is if you do an average, somebody could have 1 result where they finished 3rd...and that would put them near the top of the list.

Then you have someone like Goetz, who has like four 9th place finishes, and he's near the bottom.

I'd like to put in some other races, but it's tough to find all the results. Also, discovered there's no results to be found for the lower mains at the 2005 ROAR Nationals, so there goes that idea too.

I'd have to say of all the current stock racers Trais Schreven & Drew Ellis. Schreven for TC Stock and Drew Ellis all around. Drew will put in the show at any major race in TC and 1/12th. Close behind those guys would be Cuff's and Peter Robinson if he was still racing.

My bad, forgot to look at the Snowbirds results. Still hard to argue over the last two years 1 national championship 1/12 Stock '06 Carpet Nats, 1st 1/12 Stock '06 Cleavland, 2nd TC Stock '06 Carpet Natonals, 3rd TC Stock '06 Paved Nationals, 2nd TC Stock & 1/12th Stock '07 Carpet Nationals, '07 Stock Foam TC Novak, 2nd '06 Carpet Nationals. Its hard to argue with that kind of consitancy.

I would like a recount. There is no way I can be in the top 25. Everyone knows I can't wheel a foam car.

Thanks
