Can someone tell me if I can run a turbo 35 off of a novak power supply. Its the purple one, i Think it is 10 amps? Thats the only thing that I need to run from that supply.
Thanks

Well yes you can run your Turbo35 off a 10-amp supply, but you won't be able to make full use of ALL its functions. For example, using its motor break-in function(which also works for motor lathe slave motors) you'll be severely limited in how much voltage you can put to the motor, in many cases the motor will draw more than 10 amps, in which case the power supply won't be enough. Also, you'll be limited in how much you can charge at if you ever hook anything up to that supply(though I know you said you're doing that right now). Personally, I'd only keep that supply around as an emergency backup, but I also realize that supplies can get expensive & you might be budget-challenged(been there, done that), but for the time being you should have no trouble using it, as long as you don't overtax it....

Just pick up a power supply from Radio shack...they have bith 15 and 25 amp power supplies and they work great.
