Virtual RC have been out of the adaptors for quite a while now. I got mine from rcmart.com -- but it was out of Hong Kong (I think). I was happy though -- only took 7 days to get to me, it was packaged well, and I needed to sign for it.

A little expensive, but I wanted one, so I paid...

I got one I could let you have.

Making RC Cars has left me no time to Virtual rc.

But I must say it was a Blast!!

I've been looking into this for myself but have been rather skeptical. I looked at the website and it didn't offer a lot of information on screen shots of how an actual race looks like. If it works like it says, then this is the perfect way to solve my RC fix in the midst of a busy schedule.

So tell me, is it like the real thing? How are you able to control how your car is viewed as it moves on the track? What are your likes and dislikes about in comparison to the real thing?

Any input would be appreciated. I am sure others are interested as well.

Thanks.

My opinion is the racing is pretty close to the real thing. I'm not a real "set-up" guy, so I've been downloading setups to race with, so I don't know if the changes being made on the cars is "real-life" or not.

Racing the "computer" cars is fun. Sometimes they get in the way (just like real-life competition), I hope to race others online in the near future.

I'm an electric guy, so I don't run nitro (what is run on virtualrc), but overall I like it a lot.

You can alway download the program and race using the keyboard. It sucks (its hard), but you'll know what the graphics is like. Plus you'll know if your computer will run it (you must have a graphics card that handles texture and lighting).

Good Luck.

Marty -- if fat500 doesn't take you up on your offer for the adaptor, I'll take it. My brother-in-law is looking to get one. I'll paypal you the money.

Takt Sure thing if he gets back to me on it LOL.
I will give him till sunday then it is yours ok.

As for VR I have been racing Nitro for 20 years and the last year or so I have not been able to race much So I did the game thing. Well it is the best game I have ever raced. I put a setup on my 1/8 scale car that I new was a good setup at the track and it was the same as the car I ran! LOL I even turned the same laps! it is Cool and the adaptor is a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not care much for the 200mm sedan but by the time I got done it was more fun than the 1/8 scale cars!!!

I even have a link on my website to them that is how good I felt it was.

Wow I got mine when the game first came out and I thought I paid like 35 to 45 plus shipping.

I was at Radio Shack just 3 days ago to get some connectors I didn't see it.

I wonder if we are talking about the same part (I don't think we are). I bought mine two weeks ago, paid $46 shipped from Hong Kong.

Marty, I look forward to hearing from you on Sunday then.

Thanks
