Thumbs up TIRES FOR LOW TRACTION ASPHALT

hi guys i am new to this forum i wanted to know what tires are best on low traction asphalt i currently use HPI advans with HPI med firm inserts but they are becoming scarce so i was looking for a good slick tire to use any suggestions

it depends on track temp...but here in Fl. I like RP 30's or takeoff 27's

track temps are between 80f to 90f i was looking at the Muchmore Racing Absolute Touring Rubber Tires 24° or 28°

Lowe traction use RP or TakeOff Tire bester than SOREX !
& can choice Orion JB Foam insert !

if memory serves me, we used hpi red inserts, with sorex 28's on jb medium wheels.

Bad english aside, this post is wrong. It's Mr RC MArket pushing his gear, and fair enough, but i've used Sorex and TakeOff's on medium/low traction asphalt, and i'm Sorex all the way. R32's are good for warm (not hot) weather.

On our track low grip asphalt, much more absolute 32's are the best for the temps you mention. A lot faster than sorex but don't last as long, and the pre-mount gluing is generally bad.

I didn't have much luck with those on our dirty asphalt parking lot track. Hot ticket for us is Advan A038 33R with HPI Green inserts. X-Patterns in the most sticky compount (Pro I think it is) with the 24mm Green inserts work ok too.

Solaris RP look to be a new entry to try as well.
