only thing you need to buy complete set of TB05 or 04 gear diff than switch the 40T ring gear to 39T ring gear from your EVO5 ( 4 screws)
that is it .remain the same internal drive
do the spool the same way
the internal gear diff between 05 and 04 is different

Default 6 Caster

I can't find the option-part # for the 6 Caster - C-Hub for the Tamiya TB Evolution(s) (mainly Evo 5).

Anyone know the part # for the 6 Caster - C-Hub?

Thank you

trust me. No one used the 6 degree C hubs. Run kick up if you want more caster. 3-4 degrees is usually the sweet spot for sedan

I installed the 6-Caster / C-Hub on my son's HPI RS4 Sport 3 chassis (with 1mm of Anti-dive); it runs alright (on the test-track).

I'll see what results the 6-Caster will give; when we take it to the full-track.
(you have a point - I'm currently running 4-Caster with 0.5mm of Anti-dive on my TB Evo 5; it's fast / runs well)

It's just adjustment / set-up testing.

Thanks for the info.

Thank you for the part(s) info.

Tamiya item # 51556 6-Hub Carrier says it's a TB04 part. Will that part fit well in/on the TB Evolution 5 chassis?

I checked out item # 54886. It doesn't come with 6-Caster/Hub-Carriers.

(I don't want to run the chassis with 1-2mm of Kick-up - to achieve the 6 of Caster)

Thanks for the info
