If you like AC/DC all built in then the following are all nice.

Reedy Quasar Pro
Integy 16x7
Integy 16x8
Integy 16x9

You can find these used but in good condition if you look around.

Honestly, check out the Duratrax Ice. For all of the features on it and the money they ask for it, it can't be beat.

Since you have actual experiance with both the Ice and the Advantage could you please tell me which charger you think is better in terms of charge quality? For example, which charger consistantly gives you more punch set at the same amp rate? Which charger do you normally use in the Main?

I agree with Anthony.

Don't limit your possibilities by needing a charger that runs on AC.

DC power supplies can be found for relitevely cheap. I have one that I used for along time with great results that was only $20 on ebay. I haven't seen those exact power supplies (Cosel) for awhile, and I now use a 15 amp ps from Radio Shack. Yeah, don't laugh. Its a very nice compact unit, and it looks good too. It easily handles two batts charging at over 8 amps. It goes for less than $100.

And, most component DC power supplies are going to be more reliable than the power supplies that are provided in/with an AC/DC charger.

Turbo 35 hehehehehe
If not get the ever reliable pitbull! My pitbull is 4th hand and it still rocks! Its almost indestructable from short circuits or reverse polarity because of its two 10 amp fuse protecting the Input and output of the Pitbull. Very reliable, cheap, light, and it rocks!

Hey Chris, I just got the Orion charger, I had two Ice chargers but my teammate needed a charger that could do lipo's and he just got the Orion thinking it was the cf, which can charge lipo's. So being the nice guy that I am I traded with him, I like the Orion so far but yet to use it in a race setting. will be racing this weekend. at www.newredhobbies.com
