Default LRP Sphere Competition, is it a competitive brushed motor ESC?

In my local track, we only race with brushed motor. If I were to use the LRP Sphere Competition with brush motor, would I be at an disadvantage considering that it is slightly bigger and heavier, and that it would require a cap and a fan for TC use?

The other ESC I am comparing against is the Novak GTX.

i just used my sphere comp. this weekend in one race with a C2 and it worked great - i like my G11pro better for brushed motors, but the sphere is a great ESC if you ever want to run brushless and brushed. if you are only going to run brushed, look at the Tekin G11 pro, but the GTX is a great speedo too.

Sphere Comp uses same type of software as LRP QC3 for brushed motors which is already a world champion ESC! You will definetly be competitive with it and a cap is already mounted as standard.

Sphere is even more efficient than Q3 , no disadvantage at all in using one...
