The $500 is going price of the At1. That $907 is the suggested retail. Since a Evo 7 goes for $325 with a SR of over 1k, where do you think the actual price will be?

where can you get an Evo 7 for $325? Are you referring to the final sale from TamiyaUSA? That was years ago, I think this will be an expensive car.

Yes , that was the web site. I haven't been a Tamiya customer so that is all I have to go by.

That isn't what they actually went for. Street price was usually north of $700.

To me that would be a tough sell. Easily get a X-Ray or Awesomatix which will be as good or better around that. I don't have any of those right now but I am in the market for a new brand.

I couldn't resist any longer and pre-ordered this morning. The car looks fantastic and is just what I want for the 17.5 class I plan to compete in next year. Will pay ~520 Euros shipped but other than servo screws I don't see any need for spending more on upgrades. Before pulling the trigger I calculated what a hopped up TA-08 with DCJs, Carbon Damper Bridges, Stabilisers, Aluminium Servo stay, steering upgrades and adjustable suspension mounts would cost me – and it's the same price as the TB Evo 8.

Not bad, with the $80 club coupon comes down to $550. Unlike the TRF420X which comes to $909 with the same coupon 🤣

TRF420x $1414
TB Evo 8 $907
$507 difference between their retail prices 🤔
