Default two esc issues

i baught a new trinity clash and a new mini quake for $50 about two weeks ago.

here is what i need:

-reccomendations for a reversable mini esc

-a diagnosis. the mini quake turns on and runs fine for about two/three minutes, but after that it stop responding completely, i turn the car off then on and it twitches for a split second then resume its unresponsive state.

so if worse comes to worse i will be purchasing two mini esc's

if its any help both esc's are LM-406FB models

If u leave it for a while does it start working again. If so it may be getting to hot.

Sounds like you are over working the esc and its getting too hot as Superkarter suggested.
I had this trouble with a cheap esc I brought. Think it would be worth getting a better one.

Like Superkarter & brownpants said, you're ESC might be over heating. Try this:

Replace all the bettery and motor wires to lower gauge. If the stock gauge is 18, then replace it with 14. This way the thicker wires will help absorb heat coming from to the ESC. Also try installing a capacitor and heat sink on your ESC.

Your ESC should work better after that procedure.

I recommend LRP's Quantum 2 Micro. It is a good choice.
