The Tamiya is lighter than a Kaizen TC4? Bert will not stand for it.

the holes for set screws seems to little and the set crews do Not fit in my kit …
any suggestions ? Thanks

mine went together quite well, just neglected to install the screws holding the bevel gears to the outdrives in the diff.. all me on that one.. other than the prop shaft, all was good, I would suggest revisiting the issue you’re having in the manual, read and reread.

Great info there compared to the At1..The real difference is on what electronics you choose to put in...Anybody weighed the At1 drivetrain by itself ? If it weighs more than 50grams, then some weight can be shaved there to increase acceleration, etc...

Scroll up - I listed them.
Unless you mean individual pieces.

Got it Robbob, thanks....Wow....Maybe these figures are for fully built parts and not rotating parts only that can lower horsepower, etc....

Yah thats not just rotating parts, its with housings and alum mounting piece for the spur/motor.
Maybe someone who hasnt built theirs yet can do that.

Was racing the car last Weekend and it was good.
Some small changes to the Kit setup and it was as fast as the fast guys on the track.
Attended the regional race for the RCK Challenge (race Series here in Germany)
Was the only Shaft Drive Car on the track and it turned some heads (just because of the noise)
Car performed well and didn't had any problems with the drivetrain (I have used Shaft cars in the past and was a bit afraid for durability)
The car weights ready to run with a ZooRacing BWOAH 1322g (the gear ratio in the class is 5.0 no fan needed for outdoor racing)

How's the weight balance? That looks like a lightweight ESC and a ~270g battery, might be battery side heavy.
