First run today. Fortunately the walls at my local club are fairly robust and survived unscathed despite my best efforts.

Gradually improved throughout the day.

The kit springs are a bit soft. Does anybody have any suggestions for brands other than xray that fit. I have amsome associated springs bit they are a little bit too long. The price of xrays own springs is a bit steep.

Does anyone know if/when XRay will release an aluminum chassis for the 2024 X4f?

I was in this rabbit hole a few months ago. Yes adding grease does deadens the sound of the click. Best solution is to replace the 5x1 rubber o ring. alternatively you may use a tiny amount of blu tack in-between the spur gear holder and the center pully. Not ideal but works to remove the click completely too

Cheers,

Any word on the '25 X4F? Looking into the 24 but might be worth holding off.

https://www.redrc.net/2024/05/xray-x...d-touring-car/

Notable changes:
- slightly more front biased weight
- motor moved by 5mm
- carbon upper bulkheads at rear
- upper arms now full plastic instead of bling-but-silly-expensive CFF parts.
- single bellcrank steering
- another iteration of attaching battery and servo together.

Of course many X4'24 parts from bulkheads and suspension.

Might be worth using those upper arms on the regular X4, the carbon inserts keeps breaking for a lot of people.
