My local track has been running 730g. I notice we have quite a few carbon cars running; AE, CRC, Roche (EU spec), SpeedMerchant. I'm assuming the A12's are close to 730g, but not sure.

Interesting about the 40.5mm tire diameter. An attempt to limit the amount of skimming?

I have a sneaking suspicion that was intended for foam. SJT fronts are around 40.5 - 41 new.

Or they're referring specifically to the rears.

I measured a few sets of used rears, and they were ~41.1mm. I don't have a new set to measure for comparison.

Regardless, with a maximum wheel diameter of 38mm, that would leave quite a bit of usable rubber left if the 40.5 rule applies to what you can run. I guess a question to answer, once the rears get to 40.5mm, what are the fronts at? They generally tend to wear faster than the rears and start smaller.

I think the SJT wheels are like 37.7mm or close to that.

Opened two new packs of rears, and three fronts...BSR striped.

The Front's are basically the same, a tad bigger with a two of them.

The SLJs are 41.98 and 41.02 out of the package.

RKeasler and bentouttashape like this.

Don't have a clue where they came up with the diameter info? Send your question to the PRESIDENT.

Its obvious you did not like my simple answer. Like the last big post it was taken down within hours of me posting but it got the job done. There is no rule that I can think of about the min. diameter of a foam tire? Why is there one one the rubber tire? Just who do you think got rules to include foams when they were totally left out? but he the President ((Mr. Young) does not always answer emails. You might also ask about the min. weight for bodies? where did that come from?It looks like they had problems with the WGT-R guys and maybe it filtered down to this class( but not here in Florida). If you are going to scrap the bodies that light you really have to be desperate to attempt to win a race. Oh well we will see how long this post stays up. still write to your President and region directors - maybe they can help you like mine did .
