I came away with a win and a 2nd in the GT12 class at the two events that I attended. Got beat by the local fast guy on carpet that he is familiar with. I made setup changes to the car all day and got better, closer.

And agree with the comment that the tracks being spread out makes it difficult to get people to travel. Four tracks within four hours of each other might get more cross attendance between the clubs.

We need more tracks to have races closer together. The only place that has that many tracks is Ohio

We also run GT12 at Indy RC in Indianapolis, IN. It is our second most popular class.

Are you gonna come down to Toledo next winter? Bowling Green has to be closer than Bay City. Heck some of the bay city guys come down every so often.

At Racers of Toledo (Bowling Green) there was some preliminary talk about doing a GT Series in Ohio. Maybe Toledo (Bowling Green),The Gate, EN and Cincy.

We only got to race once a month this season so focused on Bay City to help Craig get the new track going. It is 1 hour and 40 min to BC and 1 hour and 30 minutes to Bowling Green. We plan to race both tracks next season and a couple stops at the Gate.

I would love to restart the Carpet Racing League that I ran in the early 2000. Bay City, Bowling Green, MCRC and maybe one other track.

Haven't heard...but the track looks perfect for it...similar in size to the track in Windsor, ON where they run various 1/12 and TC classes...quick laps, but loads of fun

Default 1 cell motors

Can someone explain why a motor designated as a1cell motor is different than a regular brushless sensored motor? Because I cannot find an explanation?

I think it's more of the options that come with it (rotor strength etc). There's nothing physically different with the motors or they would have to have a different part number and approval through roar.

So what is the benefit?

Comes with the rotor you want as opposed to buying it separately? Spittballing here...

Is there a difference between a 2S and 1S tuned motor, other than timing adjustment? What would you differently?

As far as Trinity is concerned, i think it's just timing. With the REVTECHs I am only seeing 1s vs 2s on the Certified and I believe this line in the description is what changes: "Sensor Board adjustment and timing set for motor application"

The class has been on the entry form since 4/1. They had 5 last Friday and a few more will join us on the 6th.

Tires are now in stock, so that should help...I gave away all of my spare sets to help people get on the track right away.
