Those style of upper A-arm existed before the Awesomatix was an idea... they will be just fine.

I like the droop screws being pushed out further - finer and more reliable adjustment like this.

No, the shock tower is actually attached to the bulkhead like all other TC cars.

Copy or not.........now a day who's copying who is not important. I know the price is definitely the lowest amoung all the others. It should be right below $600 USD

On the pre-order list already.... Can't wait to get my hands on it. After building the MI7 (2019),
i'll never buy another x-ray product (2018-T4) again. Interesting note, all the setup sheets from the top
schumacher drivers show "kit" selections for most all variable items/upgrades . It's nice to know at least one
toy car manufacturer is being honest with it's customers..

Yes, this MI8 is definitely made me want to get one. I might get couple so I can have one for parts or for VTA USGT.

Try these guys in Niles Michigan for kits/parts (discountrcstore.com ) . They're great in both
pricing & delivery . I've ordered parts in the afternoon & delivered next day UPS ground to Chicago , A-main takes a week these days.
See you soon !

right, and less leverage from the shock pushing down on the arm, should increase longevity.

Default I love it!

It's such a copy, and totally lacking in originality.

I love it!

i wonder if schumacher has their own destruction test team? I'm sure the tc fans are gagging to find out if the mi8 is as durable as the xray x4... and as easy to drive... no less.

The manual is out and its nice to see Schumacher included the molded upper arms with the kit. Looks like caster doodles are an option part from Schumacher for those who want to stick with the turnbuckle style upper links.

There are almost no new ideas on anything anymore...just variations on a theme...that being said, Schumacher has incorporated some really slick features on this kit...it looks pretty cool!

Yes, I like what they have done here. Is focusing on LCG really "copying" someone else? I see a lot of potential in this car...

I can see why you are saying this. However, looking closely to the manual shows that you can put 4 mass dampers on the car exactly where you want them, not in the front (around the bumper) not in the center, no exactly in line with the drive shafts. THAT is something new what other cars don't have ;-)

Besides that, as mentioned above even the Team drivers run most of the KIT parts. All shiny options are nice to have, and I've ordered several, but not necessary. And this kit is (a lot) cheaper than most of its contenders.

In the US it is showing at the lower end of the current pricing range at $679, just below the current Yokomo and about 10% less than the Xray, Mugen and AMX cars...so cheaper...but not necessarily a LOT cheaper here...

Add in aluminum steering arms and ~$700.
