Graphite Plate Transponder Mount?

Hi All

Anyone know of a company or where to get a graphite plate personal Transponder mount similar to the one shown in this picture?

not sure that that is real CF, look closely, i think its CF tape,

YUP... it is....
AMB even tells you not to attach transponders to CF cause of interferance.

You can get a sheet of CF sticker from your local hobby shops, I think Parma makes the sheets.
I think it is attached via lexan, and covered with a CF sticker.

That's actually a pice of lexan with CF print vinil on top. You could easily make it out of CF with pice of scrap from an old chassis and a Dremel.

i wouldnt stick my PT to a CF plate , not a good match

Jet make a carbon fibre transponder plate - JE-55 - unfortunately out of stock at the UK distributors (Much-More UK) at the moment, but may be available elsewhere in the world.

Never had problems with my AMB's attached directly to Carbon Fiber. You see pro's with theirs attached diretcly to CF all the time as well.

Just make sure that you cover the entire bottom of the transponder with the double sided tape so no part of the transponder itself can touch the C/F.
