Default how to deal with brand new battery?

just bought a new battery and charger, so may i know how shd i deal with it? shd i discharge it 1st and then charge for long long hours the 1st time?

What kind of battery do you have?

For an assembled stick pack, I would recommend an overnight trickle charge at C/10 for any pack, this will help to re-equalise the cells after storage.

For single cells, I would recommend either a trickle charge ot the use of an equalising board before the first charge. If you choose a fast charge, don't go crazy on the amps, give the cells a gentler first charge after they have been resting for a while.

my using 3600mah battery, and 3800mah battery with muchmore CTXC charger. i just got all these, and can anyone advise how to discharge and charge it? btw, u mention c/10, may i know wat does that mean? TQ

c/10 is the capacity of the batter divided by 10

it if you are using 3800mah batteries you would charge at 380miliamps or as close as your charger can get to that number
