I've been testing this car and it's really good. Anyone want to share info?

Most of the DR1S users seem to post on Facebook instead of rctech.

Yes I know just curious if we can get something going here

Most of the discussion I've seen has been around the differential pulleys, and how they need an alloy version. How has your testing been? I'd have thought the belts would fail long before the diff pulley fails.

I havnt had anything fail. I have a tekin rx8 with tekin 6500 4 pole motor on 2s. I also tried a spektrum esc with 2200 motor on 4s. Doing 2.10 dry tire.no crashes,no going off-road, no wheelie, straight every time. Running 2 7600 drag batteries on custom chassis. It's just a joy to drive. Also drifts really well on hard rubber tires

2.1s on a dry tire is impressive. I can only imagine you're seeing wheelspin like a MF though. Some sticky should get that into the 1.6 range, easy.

It leaves black marks from the foam tires for 50 feet lol but if I slow the throttle speed down so it doesn't spin I get into the 2.30's. I'm waiting on a 19 pinion to go down one tooth cause this motor is good for 60,000 rpm and I'm only getting 48,000 rpm with 35 degrees timing not including can timing. Idk if I can add more.
