What do your 17.5 stripe 1/12th scale cars run on this track? This will be your gauge. Your proposed GT10 setup should yield a quicker time around your track than 1/12th scale. I'm guessing by about 1/2 second. The fact that you basically matched the hot lap of a TC with probably a 4.5T motor shows how much the more efficient drivetrain, extra grip and weight advantage all come into play.

Hopefully on an upcoming trip to the DFW area, I will have a Saturday free to come check the track out. Maybe I'll even pack the RC stuff up and bring it down. What bodies will be allowed in your GT10 class? I still have an unopened PF Gianna GT body sitting in my garage. Guessing you are only allowing bodies from the WGT-R body list though?

Bringing this back to the top as my local track is looking at (re)starting this class. How has the racing been? Have there been any issues with finding bodies that fit the car and still fit within the rules? I'm looking into joining the class, but I'm afraid that bodies may become an issue as it doesn't look like there is a whole lot available for 200mm anymore.
