Default Pits are back!

At least at my local indoor track. New version of Pit Shimuzu tires are in. Will try them this weekend.

Interesting...

Do you know which company is importing them?

RC Imports in California, according to my track owner. Sounds like other importers will be bringing them in, too.

Yeah, our LHS has them in again too. They have a new "r" variety, and the old style back in stock. Most ppl still think the sorex will be better though.

Sorry, I don't have the address.
Yes, the "R" ones are new; those are the tires I got -- 27r and 24r. One of the nationally-ranked drivers who uses the track was pretty high on these new tires. I have only run Sorex in the past so I'm interested in comparing the brands.

Pits worked fine today but hard to tell difference between a new set of Pits and a new set of Sorexes. Our Sorexes were starting to wear out, especially the rears. The Pit 24s, used in the back, wore a little more than the 27s in front after 3 heats.
