a quick question why is the dodge stratus body so popular??

It is ROAR and IFMAR legal and has good aerodynamics.

on asphalt... But on carpet you want a Prama Alfa body.

actually the stratus 3.0 carpet version is very good on carpet

I agree!! I tried it for the first time this past weekend and really liked it. Seems smoother in the corners.

I like the stratus 3.0 carpet. I find that I use it alot. I like the extra steering it gives you over the alpha.
I've thought about trying the aphalt one. To see if I like it over the Mazda 6.

after using many kind of body shell on my car, i think Dodge Stratus still the best it can gives a lot steering and traction, today i've tested a Tamiya Subaru Legacy B4 body shell # 53727 on asphalt with my MSX (since in my place has no carpet track), the result is : SUCKS!!!no grip, no steering, very different with Stratus 2.0. any body can tell me why that Legacy not perform well??? any body ever use Legacy body shell???
