Default Speed Control (ESC) Weights (GTB, Sphere Comp, GTX, QC2)

Today while playing with my cars I weighed a few speed controllers w/o wires. It seems to me that manufacturers often specify the weight of ESCs in a way that makes me not really sure how much each weighs.

So, here is the weight of all of these:

Novak GTX w/o capacitor: 23 grams
LRP QC2: 25 grams
Novak GTX with capacitory: 32 grams
LRP Sphere Competition w/o heat sink: 32 grams
LRP Sphere Competition with heat sink: 45 grams
Novak GTB w/o fan: 61 grams

That's great Bob!

Anyone got the weight of a GT7 with wires and cap?

that's why I run a QC2 as I was told your not suppose to run the GTX or GT7 without the cap. need all I can get in 12th scale. I think the GTX and GT7 are same case or size just a better version in the new one.

Oh... I'll gladly admit... I'm a huge dork. But I'm only slightly more dorky than you two dorks

That being said... notice from the pictures that the GTB was without the fan.

Great thread, how about the weight of a VFS-1. Does anybody have that?
