The standard ones are too short i guess?
I just got the car (XQ2S + fwd kit) and i have a million questions :-)

The standard ones come with extensions. There's a fad with horizontal body posts lately.

i thought it was because the fwd bodies are too hight in the back
i'm using 2 spare front posts mounted horizontally in the back

The extenders that come with the posts are very long, it's not a height issue.

I've asked around and the chassis ride height should be approx 4.8
I can't manage to go lower than 6.
If i keep turning the shock ring the spring is too short and moves.
What am i doing wrong??

What am i doing wrong??
Keep going until you get the desired ride height. After you've done that, adjust the droop screws (big chunky set screws in the arms that limit suspension travel) to reduce the amount that the arms drop. With the correct amount of droop and ride height, the springs should be the right length.
