Are you using the old spektrum system? If so, you might be sending the receiver into failsafe mode.

It could be. I would think that if the receiver (spectrum 3500) went into the fail safe mode, I would also loose the steering. I have steering, just no throttle.

The speed controls cannot tell a diffrence between a Novak, LRP, GM or Orion Motor. Everything works with everything. This is what the current BL standards (connector pin outs, phase color and letter codes,etc...) were set.

There has to be some other cause for your problem. If you were running the old Spektrum that might have been the problem. I have seen what you describe with the original Spektrum systems and mod brushed motors.

i'm thinking the reduced voltage to the rcvr is the problem.

Because the steering wasn't lost I don't think it's the spektrum failsafe. Maybe a loose wire somewhere? Would one of the sensor wires loose cause something like this?

sensor wire , make sure the plug`s are not loose...

If he is using the "sportsman" mode this happen`s with my experience....

The Esc say`s, you want to much power , and won`t give it until you back off the power..

Sometimes it will not even launch off the line , done that a lot of times for me..

This is only if you are using the sportsman mode ...

This is exactly what they are doing. If I back off the throttle a little, the throttle comes back on instantly. If I don't, the throttle continues to stay in the off mode. I will check my mode settings again.

Burrito, open up your PM or post your email address and I will

Ok...I need to get a speedo this week (racing brushless Sunday). Can anyone tell me when the Sphere Comp will be available in the US? Tower says Mid-Jan, Horizon Says Early-Feb. GTB 4 cell is pretty much the same on both.

Can anyone tell me if it will be available anytime soon? Please?

Hiya

I have a GTB brushless speedo, and am looking at running an LRP X11 5.5 brushless motor on it. Is there anything i should be aware of?, and what FDR should i go with in a TC ?

Thanks

Any Euro racers out there know where to start gearing an LRP Sintered 5 Star on 5 cells? This will be on a fairly tight 45m x 20m track.
