I run my 10.5 at all stock esc setting's, but I put it into 6-7 cell race mode, comes in lipo from the factory

Punch and all that is stock, and it runs grate!

voodoo: you may want to try the box settings and work your way from there. for the 10.5 you should be able to go more aggresive on the drive profile (maybe go up to 5 from 3). as for drag and inital brake, its really about personal feel and what complements your driving so try the box settings for drag then maybe also try it without any at all and see what works for you. personally i zero out drag brakes coz i like to do the braking on my own since i run a spool anyway. it also helps keep everything cooler with drag shut off. my $0.02 .... see you soon at the track!

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what would be a good rollout to start with the 13.5 LRP stock brushless motor on a tight asphalt track please.

thanks.

Im new to running brushless. Everyone at my track seem to be running the lrp 07 on the offroad. Can I run the LRP Sphere TC ESC & Vector X-11 4.5T Brushless Motor on the off road. Any help is appreciated. By the way which one is newer the 07 or TC?

Yes you can......... There even pics from AE with there B44 with the TC in it....And I have seen it in lots of 4wd off roaders.....

The 07 is the sphere, no heat sink or fan (Good for 12th scale, or a car that does have clearence for whatever reason

The TC has the heat sink and fan all from the box, so it runs cooler....

Thats the best I can say it

Of the two the TC is newer. It came (here in Finland) to the market last April as the 2007 version on Sphere Comp came in Nov 2006.

People here use both in offroad. Those using TC have removed the cooling fan (just cutting the wire works OK) but have kept the integrated heat sink.

On our tracks 5.5T is more popular than 4.5T, they just don't have the traction to benefit of the higher power. With sintered rotor in 5.5T temperature is no problem and heat sink on either 07 or TC is sufficient for keeping temp in control.

I've read that the TC Spec is more geared toward 1/10th onroad with profiles and design. Didn't know that before I bought the Sphere comp for my TC5, but I'm quite happy with it anyway.

hi guys need your help....
I do not have new sphere comp, I have a older sphere and having some set up problem

trying brushed motor for the first time with it, all the wiring is right and my radio is also correctly set up as well .... but when I press throtle it seems like it has drag brakes on... as soon as i let go the throtle it just stops without rolling at all. is it mine? or is this defective?

Do the vector x-11 motors come with a bonded or sintered rotor? Which is the better one to have?
