To inform about the bad service Rob experienced, he ordered that product overseas (Hong Kong). This is one good reason to support your local hobby shop: service will be much better!

Where is the newest Sphere Competition user guide .pdf? The one that came with my 2007 edition is wrong. It only has 6 step settings, where I read the new 2007 has 8 settings each. The user guide on LRP's web site is outdated as well.

Talking LRP Sphere TC-Spec 80750

ITS HERE - I've just taken delivery of the new sphere TC-spec speedo. Not had chance to run it in anger yet (and only in brushed mode), but first impression is very good. Build quality looks excellent and the supplied/built in fan is better than anything I've seen previously (including after market) this thing really blows !!!

Only slight suprise was the weight, I managed to install very neatly close to the centre line to help balance the car (yokomo bd), the size it self wasn't a problem and fitted easily.

The only problem now is what brushless motor to go for, and suggestions ?

I've looked at the LRP x11 4.5, but noticed that Nosram have just released a 3.5 turn with the following figures - 70.560 rpm and 653W http://www.mirageracing.com/news.php?article=558

Now since the Nosram is LRP but in RED, where is the LRP Blue is best version, Burito ????????

If any one wants pics of the installed speedo let me know.

Default X11 3.5T

The message last week from LRP factory representative regarding the new 3.5T version of X11 was that it is great for 5 cells but just too much power for 6 cells.

I have tested the 3.5t LRP with the new TC-spec on a big track with 5cells... Wow this thing is crazy fast... nothing comes close to this combination (at least not something I have ever driven). Really pleased with it so far, also other test reports are really positive from what I have heard. Temp is no problem it didnt get warmer than 65 C. for the whole day.

For running 5 / 6 cell modified touring car - should I be getting the 2007 Sphere Comp Edition or the TC spec?

Thanks.

I am in asia. As I know lrp has limited life time WARRANTY. Why some guys in us said they are talked out of WARRANTY? Because my sphere is not working. I am planning to send it to be repaired.
