Don't understand your 2nd question, sorry.

I meant how are the brakes on the system in a touring car from top speed? My experience of brushless so far is that the momentum the car has and the lack of the mechanical braking (like from a brushed motor) means the brakes are poor and the car coasts even on full brake from top speed - low speed is ok.

I have the touring spec version. So far no reason to complain about the brakes. In fact i have EPA at 80%.

However, i do have to brake sooner, but thats im when going into corners faster

FET servo wire. Kinda a throwback for people with older FET servos. Its only kinda a throwback though because KO has the 2123FET which is the fastest servo available. You need to be careful with this wire because it is connected to the battery voltage, and will can cause a short if you dont seal off the wire.

does the COMP model have an ACTUAL cutoff for lipos, so when the pack gets down to 6V for a 2S pack the esc will stutter or shut down the throttle?
from experience not from the manual that says it has a lipo function but doesnt say what that function is. thanks.

How has the LRP repair service in the US been lately? I've heard some horror stories about waiting months to get something repaired. I want to pick up one of these but not if I won't be able to get it fixed.

Reto previously advised some units have been shipped out to distributors, not sure if the Aussie disty has recieved yet though.

I was lucky enough to meet Reto at the TITC, Companies should be proud to have gentlemen like him working for their companies, he helped me out greatly at the event, and i was never short of horsepower, if only he could have set up the car so this mong could drive it properly.

Thanks again Reto, yourself Charlie and Oscar were fountains of information and advice.

Just got my hands ona NOSRAM 2007 edition. (its the same as LRP)

I have not tested it yet. Hopefully this coming weekend I will have some feedback. It will be interesting to see how it compares to the GM95 speedo, I have been using up to know.
It sure is a lot lighter!
