yep, I can confirm it's the 2007 edition.

I installed it with a 13.5 novak (sintered rotor) calibrated etc... but on the bench the motor feels very slow compared to my brushed stock motors. What could be the problem?

The 13.5 brushless motor has oodles of torque. Have you read this post? If this is your first time with the 13.5 brushless, you'll need to gear up about 10 teeth higher than brushed.

Default New sintered rotor question

Hi all,
I got the new LRP military spec sintered rotor (the Vector X11 4.5T motor comes with this) yesterday. I will use in my Vector X11 5.5T motor. Does anyone have info how it will change the performance of my motor?
(power, gearing, etc.)

BTW the new TC-spec speedo is no. 80750

I tested the Sphere comp 07 first time this tuesday. During the first run the alu cover which holds the heat sink came off . After close inspection it seems that it was not secured to the housing in any ways. It was just the grease on the fets which held the cover in place. This grease is what LRP uses on the Fets for better heat transfer and it is a little sticky thats all.

Now the inside of the speedo is full of debris

Is this something that the limited warranty would cover?

Does anyone know if you need to run the heatsink when running the 13.5??

I don't used a heatsink or fan with my sphere comp and 13.5 (sintered). Even in hot weather. I've tried it for testing purposes. I don't race with it. I have left it inplace when 19T and stock in the same day. I haven't seen much difference.

What is this: sintered, sorry I'm clueless with the brushless lingo.

Hi Burito (Reto),

I am in Austria, and today, the 14th Fe. the TC speedo is still not available.
Do you know when it will be ? I mean in Europe??

Since you cannot update the #80700 to one TC I have to wait....next international race is for me on the 3rd and 4th of March and I am flying on the 28th. So looks like I have to use something else...perhaps Oskar has something to tes

@Drcy: I don't think Oscar will be able to help you, since Orion/Peak scrapped their own speedo project and their drivers are now free to use other manufacturer speed-controls. Lot of Orion guys are currently testing our speedo...

But back to your question:
- as promised, TC-Spec is ready by mid of February.
- first production run was completed last Friday!
- first shipments to distributers where done today, but honestly these where not so many yet.
- bigger quantities are going to ship next week.

Hi Burito (Reto)

thanks for the information.

In did this is going to be one "friendly" international race in Portugal and I am also free to use any speedo.

It would be the second Item in my car that I am not sponsored but is still the only one I am willing to buy, so I will wait till last minute, perhaps I will use DHL 24hours to get it from Modellsport Eder or RC Blitz or....
but what I need is to know what kind of setup is suitable for a medium traction large track . About the same as the EUROS 2004 in Austria.

Also, which is the max temperature (Speedo and Motor measured with IR pistol), since the gear/ratio is going to be different than anything I am used.

thnaks in advance for this and/or any other info that can help me in facing the bunch of low turns from Check Point and Oskars 2.0

Good work for LRP

What is the difference between the 80700 updated Sphere and the TC spec 80750 other than the fan? The internal specs on the LRP website has them identical.

Hi Reto

Will you or any of the LRP boys be heading to the TITC in Thailand next week?
Im currently running the Sphere comp, but am dying to get hold of the TC spec, and i dont think the initial shipment will arrive in Australia in time.
Will any be sent direct to Thailand?
