I've replaced the silver shims by purple ones on my T4 for two reasons:
- I like this color
- That's just enough to trigger the fanboys lol

Honestly on the pictures, that's a little bit too much for me...

Default tires and body for carpet??

ok quick question, if your racing on CRC black ozite and have no spec tire and body rules to abide by... what would you use for optimal performance? Obviously with the T4 21' solid aluminum car... on both 21.5 and in Mod...

Thanks Guys

Anyone else finding the T4 '21 upper deck cracks easily at the thinner spot behind the spur?

I know....should stay off the walls but I've taken harder hits in my '20 and other cars with no issues. Will the RC Maker asymmetrical 1.6mm top deck provide the same feel as the X-ray option part?

Go with the RC Maker. If for no other reason than ease of maintenance. That thing is so easy to slide off to do any work that require removal of top deck.

As hard as it is to get the factory deck off and on, you might have cracked it during installation and removal. The factory one is such a PITA, that they actually made a video tutorial on how to “properly” take it off.

I second this, the Rc Maker top deck makes things much easier, not only with installation and removal, but way better access to your pinion gear.

Totally forgot about that. Straight shot to the set screw. No weird angles or ball drivers needed

It is a little more work with the stock style deck but not too bad, pretty careful installing it. Any noticeable negative changes in handling though? I got it in my cart right now.

21 upper deck will not fit the 20 car. The stansion right behind the motor mount does not line up between the 2 models.

I know Hagberg recommended running 0.5mm shorter but that was with the T4 20 shafts.

Hi,

With PSS piston/Sleeve how does the 0.5mm shorter shaft affect the damping? To my understanding the piston lays 0.5mm lower in the sleeve and initial damping will move to softer? Why I'm asking is I somehow remember Hagberg said the opposite and the damping will be initially harder with 0.5mm shorter shaft. I couldn't find the explanation now.

You can swap decks between the 20 and 21 in a pinch I suppose... Keep in mind the bearing/bushing at the center post will not lineup, so you will have to run the car with the center post not attached to the top-deck.

I would like to know as well - what is the guidance for this measurement from shock bottom to eyelet? T4 '21 on black carpet

Raced mine on asphalt for the first time over the weekend with stock setup. It was good but with ride height at 5.2f 5.5r it was dragging the outer edges of the chassis pretty good. Product of the long arms and their mounting points I guess? probably need to go to 2.8 springs on rear
