I would have to agree with the Airtronics servos mentioned, but I use JR servos.. z9000s. .06 and 128oz in. The z8800s is also a great servo but just a hair slower at .08. Not like you'll notice though.

Some times people dont like at fastness, 100oz and .10 speed is a good starting point

Airtronics 94357 125oz in at .07
Futaba S9402 111oz in at .10
Hitec HS-925MG 106oz in at .11
Hitec HS-5925MG 128oz in at .08
Hitec HS-5975MG 109oz in at .10
JR DS8450 98oz in at .08
KO PDS-2343 111oz in at .08

Ill be getting the Ko 2343 and 2344 for my servos, 2343 for stock truck, gas truck, touring car, and 8th scale throttle/brake and the 2344 for 8th steering

Hope this helps

Personally I like these two servos the best. Had the top Hi-tech, went with a KO, and dont even plan on going back..

The futaba 9550 is good if you need more space for your electronics, doesn't quite have the stats of some of the others though. From memory I think it is 98oz and 0.11 but its still a good servo and its what I use.

Alot of our locals are running the Futaba 9550. Digital, .11 sec, 83 oz/in torque. Very nice for mounting and good enough speed and torque for carpet foams.

Hitec servos are really good and tough. Digital, ball bearings, tinanium gears, coreless, and heatsink are all provided on the top models.
