I am currently running 4.5 FDR with an LRP 10.5 if that helps

Thank you for the quick responses, for some reason I was confused.....which isn't too surprising!!

If it is seriously high bite and mostly fast and open, and you're getting push, I'd seriously think about running a 1-way front diff. Tried one the other week and given the grip was only medium at best and the track was tight, was pretty impressed with the car.

Give it a go!

There didn't seem to be any decrease in performance. Although normally I would use 5-cell at the reduced weight. Between 6-cell and LiPo when balanced evenly there should be no difference.

Team Associated driver Paul Wynn ran his TC5 with Lipo all season in the Florida State Series and won mod using lipos against great drivers who used nimh and lipo as well.

Felix Law, 2008 Florida State Series 13.5 and 10.5 champ, was a privateer using an HB Cyclone, and ran using Orion 3600 packs and beat some of the best in the state(and florda has some of the best drivers in the US), and ran against factory drivers from Corally, Xray, Serpent, etc, some of whom were using some amazing power NIMH packs(EnerG4600 40C)from different matchers. Felix just signed with HB

Is this the same Felix that one hand drifts? If so I gotta apologize! I was laughing at him all weekend at Nats thanks to some funny impressions from Mark, Chesty, Dave and Tim! Sounds like the guy is a wheel!

Yes!! That's him...the dude is a hell of a wheel...and yes, he can even drift with one hand He's one the nicest persons in the world and fun to hang with.

He's now taking a trip to Hong Kong to race 23T against some of the best Asian drivers.

For 2009 he'll be racing in mod classes as well for HB and will plan to attend the Reedy and ROAR nats as well.

Remember that name

The majority of the time we run Blue front and Silver rear for rubber tire.

Do they make a solid weight for LiPo on the TC5? I can't remember where I seen them! Anyone running one?
