I started looking but there is a lot to sift through so maybe someone could help. What is the difference between the Factory TC5 and the TC5R. I understand what the difference between the 5R and 5F but don't see the other. Why is there such a huge price gap? Thanks.

I did notice that that would slide when the rear did but I also found it easier to control when it did slide other then just pivoting on the front wheels. My track is med bite at best with both on and off camber corners. The whole track is on the side of a hill.

Well I pulled my tc3 one way out and they are different. The tc3 is a lot smaller. I got this new sealed so it has to be right. When tighten down the caps, the side to side movement is greatly reduced, but there is still some there.

I have been struggeling to get my tc5 to handle well I had it for a race then it went away could anyone tell me where or what pages to look on to find some good asphalt setups. The track I have been running on it old seal coat wairing off and orange soda for traction. I have tried Rick Hohwart's and don't relly like it.

It is a shaft car that this guys keeps bragging about that has not won anything at any Major race that people here would care about. Keep hearing from this guys how great this car is when it has not results at a MAJOR race, not some National champ from Siberia as that don't count. We want to see it do something at Snowbirds, IIC, The Worlds (this is where it counts for me as the best around are racing here).

what do you think about the arm mounts it says to use the #3 mounts all around I had the #2 mounts and it seemed to have more room to play with the suspension. A car I just bought has the #2's on front and #3 on the rear but that was run on carpet.

In order to obtain sufficient suspension travel with the high arm mount position, you must shave 1mm or so off of the shock shaft, ball cups and spring retainer. Once you do this, you will have a good amount of travel.

The FT TC5 parts fall between the R and the F kits. The older FT kit comes with the thick chassis and topdeck, but soft suspension parts. It also comes with 2 plastic diffs. The R and F come with the aluminum units.
