That's the wrong part number. The right one for the newest shocks is 42102. Here's a link to an Ebay auction for them.

Yeah, something like that. I was just wondering if there was one commonly better than the other. I am considering this one atm. I like how it puts it out requiring less weight to balance the car out.

It seems every day there is the same dilemmas that us TC5 owners are coping with;

-balanced lipo mounting and weights?
-more flexible chassis for rubber tires or lower traction tracks?
-battery strap or tape the lipo?

I hope the new parts here will help address some of these problems for TC5 owners and maybe bring it up to 2010 spec

Best Always,

Pretty cool looking. What is the availability of the new chassis setup?

Mike, many people tried this chassis? Is it heavier than the old ones?

at $80, that is not priced bad considering lipo trays get close to half that and some more than half.

So as already stated, anyone test it? Has exotek made reliable products in the past?

I have been running a pre-production for the past few weeks, and it is awesome The car more neutral, and allows for a more aggresive suspension set up (It especially favors my home track which is a low bite track). I don't have the weighted battery locaters on mine, but it only makes it that much better.

As for reliable products, Mike is fairly new to the 1/10 scene, but he has accumulated many National championships with his 1/18th chassis that speak for themselves
