The black ball studs have a shorter neck on them. Whereas, the silver ball studs have a taller neck on them.





See how tall the top of the ball head is on the silver when compared to the black one.

I didn't even take into account thread pitch, lol. My recommendation was for 48 thread pitch.

www.gearchart.com has a great gear calculator that tells you final drive, top speed, roll out and everything and its free

What is the difference between the Factory Team and the Rubber version of the TC5?

oh you know I would never 2nd guess my best rival...lol...and setup in TA or 17.5TCR?...and be careful what you ask for...cause the summer I plan on BLAZZZZing a trail to the points title

Did U know that there are more than 600 pages on this thread? I already did a search on it but not much specific came up. I saw a few online shop selling the Factory Team version for $80 less than the Rubber version. I wanted to know the differences before picking one up. If you're not going to help, then keep it to yourself.

the chassis and topdeck are different along with alu outdrives in the front and back and a slipper spool in the front

I have seen up three different kits for sale on the web.
