How did you do this? Could you post pictures? I'm thinking about going lipo with the TC5 I have on backorder primarily for the following reason:

I'm mainly into off-road, but I have a FT TC4 that I race at the club level sometimes. It was my first graphite chassis car and I made the mistake of not dremeling the battery slots so I managed to nick up my expensive IB4200 racing batteries. Even after I made them fit better, I still don't like them being so exposed like that. I'd rather just use my IB4200's for off-road and use one lipo for the TC5. That way, I could also get away with using just one charger if/when I want to race my buggy and sedan on the same night.

Do you string the line threw both Ft & Bk tower`s and then lift the car , or do you supend the car with two pieces of line one for each tower and then lift ?

Thanks
you can do it both ways, one string is usually easier

At this time AE has just moved to their new home in Cali. I am sure the production of the car is still on track and will be ready to go ASAP.

Most of the drawlings are available once the kit is released.

Please correct me if I am wrong

Composite rear diff? I hope it can handle modified motor power...I would hate buying the car and in the first test run have the diffs meltdown...

I am sorry. I went back a couple of pages and am trying to find my original quote butmaybe did not go back far enough. I am not sure what you are asking.

There is a more flexible top deck. And the car will come with diffs front and rear, so you will need a spool. I am pretty sure the chassis is the same.

It will be able to handle modified power easily. I have used brushed and bushless motors and have used the same outdrives the past 3 big races plus two club races and testing with need to change them in sight.
