Now that we have official pictures can we get an official release date? They Threw that page up there in a hurry, they will probably read this and fix it but the page is labeled "Team Associated GT2 Truck"

Also they have a link stating "SEE NEW PRODUCTS SECTION FOR CURRENT RELEASE DATE" But no information listed on that page.

I noticed that as well. Might of just overlooked it when they were posting it.

We've all seen the small photos, but I have high-resolution photos of the TC5 and a release date of April 2007.

More info/photos here: http://www.therczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13028

Whoever retouched the pictures needs to forget they ever heard of unsharp mask. The sharpening is so strong, it obscures what the car really looks like. XRay is guilty of the same thing in their production pictures.

I have been guilty of that, using an existing page as the template but forgot to change the header.

I like the hole in the center of the shock towers. You can run a string between the 2 for left to right balancing.

Is it just me but do the inner camber link holes look like they are slotted for the lack of a better term. Similar to the upper shock tower mount on the Cyclone Andy Moore cars and some if not all the BMI Shock Towers?

Those photos are the original photos I got from Associated.

I can't wait to get my hands on one!

You can't possibly expect me to host those photos and not watermark them. Most RC sites watermark their news photos. The news I post is copied my other rc sites daily and the amount of bandwidth it consumes can add up. Luckily I run my own dedicated server, but if someone is going to hotlink photos I've hosted, they'll have to advertise my site as well.

Or you could write a simple mod_rewrite to prevent hotlinking, and not watermark someone else's images as a form of advertising. Watermarking someone else's content is universally hated on the Internet. Need proof? http://ebaumsworldsucks.com/articles/flash.html

You do what you want, but now you have made it so people have to register to view "your" pictures. When those pictures are from Associated not your website.
