are all I have ever really broken with this car … and not often at all. The car is pretty robust for a top-level kit. 7.0P front spring and 6.5 rear spring along with the 6.25 spring that comes with the car has worked well on all grip levels of black carpet for me.

Thanks for the info and I'll take a look at your listing. I noticed a lot are selling their kits in the FS section. Is a new kit coming out?

Already said but the drive shaft clips / blades break and the outdrives wear. Enjoy it. I'm really enjoying mine, it's a great car.

In my case - I have too many cars for the one class I race.

What chassis weights are usually needed for black ozite for Stock/USGT? Looks like most are using the 10g and 18g up front. What about the motor mount weights?

The chassis comes with (2) ten gram weights and (1) 18 gram in the kit. the motor mount weights are option parts.

What about 2 piece top-decks? I see there is the A2159 and A2162, but I can only find the A2159 online. Also, if I get the A2159 do 2 carbon pcs come in the a pack?

Sold individually. The RCmaker variants come in pairs.

Hi Mugen MTC2 folks.....

Been running the Mugen 1/8th off-road cars for years but decided to give 1/10th on-road electric a go and just ordered up a MTC2 along with some spares and option parts. I live 20 minutes from Jackson, NJ where they held the 2021 Paved On-Road Electric Nationals. I've heard great things about the track. Planning on starting with USGT as the locals say that's the most popular class. So will be looking for some advice on getting the car ready for late spring/summer when they start racing there on the weekends. I know the car out of the box needs a little help to run this class. Looking forward to hitting the pavement for a change ......LOL

Website description states it is designed for high bite, have you tried these on asphalt?

Default Bypass shocks

Has anyone tried or is using the bypass shocks on carpet? Thoughts, better, worse?

Update: Found posts in the thread discussing the bypass shock. Looks like not much difference compared to stock shock bodies. Though I did read/hear that it does help when hitting corner dots that it doesn't bounce off as much.

Both have said it was a noticeable difference over the stock ones.

I ran them on 1 of my 2 cars at beachline this weekend. Car with them was far more consistent on the higher bite than the one without them. Definitely getting them for all cars
