ran it today it was pretty good but I ended up using the stock 2mm top deck and it was a little quicker .but Im going to the track again tomorrow to try it again

If you are asking about what to run at Cencal, I would say you can run either. When I was there for Asphalt Wars I ran the kit deck, but the time before that I ran the Mugen split decks. I am certain either would work well, just depends on what you prefer. Hope this helps

I was running the rc maker 2.0mm top decks and it felt really good at track.

Does anyone know if the aluminum spool mount for the mtc1 will work on the mtc2?

Nothing honestly, I was just browsing and just wanted to know if it did or didn't. I'm pretty sure the stock mtc2 one weighs a lot less then the aluminum one.

Anyone have any idea on what gearing to run a 13.5 at steel city for the 1up race in October?

blinky or boosted?4.5blinky ,5-5.2 boosted, ran a 5.0Fdr at The Nugget Raceway (with a Mi7) and it was plenty fast

5 to 5.2 for a boosted 13.5? Is that a huge track? Can you apply the maximum timing with that FDR?

Clearly not! When I use the full timing (94), I have to use something around 1:6.5 to avoid thermal cut-offs before 300s :-(

i ran 25 degrees timing on the motor 20 boost and 20 turbo
